Its a sad occurrence when we lose ourselves.
When we get so invovled we forget who we are.
To find yourself again you must look hard.
You must look at the good times and the bad.
Take the mistakes you've made
and put them behind you.
Everyday's a new day.
If in this you do not succeed try again you must.
For if you don't you will find yourself in a bust.
A deep pit in which escape is nearly impossible.
To escape you must sacrifice.
You must sacrifice your old way of life to begin anew.

A sad story is considered a good story.
But why must this be true.
Why must we read a story
that brings tears to our eyes.
If a story meant to sadden your emotions fulfills said emotion, then it has done its job.
But do we, as people want to feel this emotion.
This emotion so indescribable.
This emotion that causes a pit in our stomach.
why must it exist in this so-called
"perfect" world of ours.
If our world was "perfect."
Then why does sadness still exist.
Because without sadness we as
humans miss out on an essential component.
The component that makes us human.
We would cease to grieve
when a loved one dies.
We would be devoid of a emotion that seperates us from our animal friends.
We would be souless.
And I for one would hate to be souless.

I cool you on a hot day, and I'm crushed flat.
You lean against me to study,
to read and to converse.
Yet I am torn down like the statue of King George himself.
I give you so much, I provide food and shelter,
and I'm treated like a rat.
What did I do to deserve this cruel world?
What could have been so bad
as to cause such treatment.

Like the crystalline surface of a lake.
What are these sounds?
These sounds are music.
Sweet, elegant, smooth music.
